The Kidd

In memory of West Marin OG Kenneth Kidd, who tragically passed away in an avalanche at Palisades this past winter. P1 a scrappy approach pitch with a mix of good & bad rock. Clip the old pin midway for bonus points, and then finish in a nice dihedral. Belay in the alcove. 10a P2 is the memorable one, snaking its way up & across wild roofs on nice golden stone. Fun easy pockets lead up to a nice rest. From there, a complex boulder problem with some difficult to spot holds trends up and left culminating at a tough clip. Hang in there through a bit more pumpy 5.11 climbing before pulling onto a ledge. Some easier terrain then takes you to an awesome summit which shares an anchor with FOTP. 13a Please rap the route, as in not down directly below the P1 anchor.

Starts in a shallow dihedral on the cobblestone beach. Head up towards the roofs.
