Bishop is sunny and full of high quality rock climbing! The top spots to visit are the Owens River Gorge for sport climbing, and the Buttermilks and the Volcanic Tablelands (Happy/Sad Boulders) for bouldering, though there are tons of places to climb in addition to these. It is a climbers paradise and a beautiful location to boot. In the summer, higher elevations can help you beat the heat. In the winter, conditions are perfect at the world class bouldering areas.
