Volcanic Tablelands (Happy/Sad Boulders)

The Tablelands have tons of awesome climbing and are also a great refuge from the cold/wind. The canyons allow you to escape the worst of the winds that sometimes rip through the Buttermilks and the lower elevation keeps temps higher. They are accessed from Chalk Bluff Road north of Bishop.
