Big Sandy

A neat rainy day area outside Henderson NV on volcanic rock. Lots of fun climbs here! Park along N Magic Way in Henderson near Havre Ave. Get to the dirt road straight ahead of Havre Ave that runs along the crest of a hill. When you reach the mountain, either head right and around the small mountain to access the boulders from the east near Double Ds, or find a trail down into the wash and access the rocks from the west towards Wolverine's Fury. Approach takes about 30-40 mins if you don't get lost, but is mostly flat.
