Smith Rock State Park is a world-renowned rock climbing destination in central Oregon, United States, and it is particularly famous for its sport climbing routes. With over 1,800 bolted routes, the park offers an incredible variety of climbs ranging from 5.6 to 5.14a in difficulty. As a sport climber, you'll find plenty of challenging and exciting climbs at Smith Rock. The park has several iconic climbing areas, including the "Gorge," which features steep, overhanging walls with classic climbs like "Chain Reaction" (5.12c) and "Just Do It" (5.14a). "The Dihedrals" is another popular sport climbing area, known for its sustained, technical climbs like "Phoenix" (5.11a) and "Crybabies" (5.12c).
